As you can see, Hilton has extensive experience in banking, including 15 years at CBA and, recently, four years as President of the Overseas Bankers Association of Australia.
Hilton will be taking over the financial and banking operations for the project.

Wood brings over 27 years of experience in the banking and financial sectors, with a career spanning major institutions and innovative ventures.
A Seasoned Financial Leader
Hilton Wood’s extensive career includes a 15-year tenure at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), where he held various senior roles, contributing to the bank’s growth and stability. Following his time at CBA, Wood served as the Chief Representative Officer for Doha Bank in Australia, playing a pivotal role in establishing the bank’s presence in the region. 
Beyond his corporate roles, Wood has been actively involved in industry associations. He served as the President of the Overseas Bankers Association of Australia (OBAA), a non-profit organization that connects overseas banking and finance professionals with Australia’s banking, commercial, and government communities.
Innovating in Financial Technology
Demonstrating a commitment to innovation, Wood co-founded iQuant.fund, a Vanuatu-registered fintech company specializing in AI-driven trading technology. Under his leadership, iQuant.fund secured Series A funding, aiming to revolutionize institutional trading through advanced AI models.

In his new role as CFO of Marina Bay City, Wood is expected to leverage his vast experience to drive financial strategy and growth. His appointment signals the company’s dedication to strengthening its financial operations and exploring innovative solutions in the evolving financial landscape.
